Membership of the Melbourne Press Club enables journalists and related professionals to mix and meet with colleagues on a regular basis in an informal and convivial atmosphere.

Members receive significant discounts on the cost of regular lunches and the Quills dinner.

MPC members pay no application fee to enter the Quill Awards.

The web site has links to dozens of professionally useful web sites, compiled and selected by the Club.

The Club has other social and professional events and occasionally offers special discounts on goods and services through arrangements with sponsors or related activities.
