30h Quills: Business News/Feature

Angelica Snowden, John Stensholt, and Liam Mendes of The Australian have won the Quill for Business News/Feature with “‘He likes the game’: second woman alleges ‘advice for sex’ compact with billionaire Richard White”.

Judges’ citation:

There was a strong break that pushed the story forward and established in the public’s mind a pattern of behaviour that they had only had a narrow insight into previously. The Judges felt this was a brave story, taking on a multi billionaire outside of the court system. This story went on to be bigger than a business story that was easily accessible and produced a significant readership running on the front page and online. Overall 15 stories were part of their portfolio of work.
