Winner: Eden Hynninen, ABC Radio, “Ballarat Grammar abuse”

Judges’ Citation:

The judges found Eden Hynninen's reporting on toxic boarding student behaviour at Ballarat Grammar to be a compelling piece of broadcasting.  As well as being a scoop, the radio report was succinct, easy to follow, and damning in its revelations.  It could only be told after Eden won the trust of victims' families, allowing her to share what is every parent's worst nightmare.
