Judges’ comments

This successful radio campaign over five months closed a legal loophole around the drug testing of drivers involved in fatal accidents. The series of reports – inspired from a single line in a court story – illustrated the immediacy and influence of radio. Legislation was changed and drivers are now more accountable with the toughest laws in the country.
