2020 Quills: News Report in Writing


Luke Henriques-Gomes of the Guardian Australia has won the 2020 News Report in Writing Quill.

Judges' citation

Luke's story was the first to reveal the deep impact of the Government's failed Robodebt scheme on the nation's vulnerable. His dogged pursuit of the story over many months paid off with the leak of Cabinet-level documents that were the basis of a clearly written exclusive of national significance.
