2021 Quills: Radio News


Bridget Rollason of ABC Radio Melbourne has won the 2021 Quill for Radio News.

Judges' citation

Rollason broke the story that the state’s building industry was to close for two weeks, following violent protests outside the CFMEU Melbourne headquarters over vaccine mandates. The report was filed live under deadline pressure just before the 6.00pm news - and came hours ahead of the official announcement by the Andrews government.
