The meeting will include the election of Board members. Members are invited to attend but must be financial in order to vote. Board nominations close at 5pm Monday 20 October 2025.
All nominations are to be returned to the Melbourne Press Club via email, admin@melbournepressclub.com.
The AGM Agenda is below. It includes a proposal to amend the Association Rules.
The Melbourne Press Club’s Deductible Gift Receipt (DGR) status expires in December 2025, and cannot be renewed. To enable the Club to continue to receive donations and apply for grants, it has applied to the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission to become a charity.
As part of this application process, the Club’s Rules of Incorporation need to be updated, as per the proposed amendment here.
The existing Rules can be found here.
If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to appoint a proxy, please download the proxy form here, fill it out and return it to admin@melbournepressclub.com by 5pm Monday 20 October 2025.
