With the Tassie Devils football teams set to enter the AFL in 2028, and interest in the club reaching fever pitch since the ABC's satirical TV series on the club's formation Ground Up, everyone wants to hear what CEO Brendan Gale has planned next.

About the panellists

Brendon Gale is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Tasmania Football Club, leading the establishment of the AFL’s 19th license and the creation of a new club from the ground up.

As a former AFL player, he played 244 games for the Richmond Football Club between 1990 and 2001. Following his playing career, Brendon practised law with King & Wood Mallesons before moving into senior executive leadership roles within Australian football.

No one knows footy like Caroline Wilson. From her incisive reporting in The Age to her robust observations on the Seven Network’s The Agenda Setters.

Caro is a multi-award winner and a recipient of the Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year, the Harry Gordon Sports Journalist of The Year and the Melbourne Press Club Lifetime Achievement Award.
