This fellowship commemorates Sam Landsberger, a talented and beloved sports journalist, who was a passionate Western Bulldogs fan and a multiple-award winning member of the Herald Sun’s sports reporting team. He died in 2024, aged 35.

Join us at Crown Palladium on Friday 20 March 2026 to celebrate the announcement of 30 individual Quill Award winners, as well as our Perkin, Wendt, Gordon and student awards.
The Quill Awards are now open! And journalists can get a free entry and save money by becoming a member of the Melbourne Press Club.
