Broadcast journalist, producer and writer Peter Luck has died aged 73.
Luck's career spanned four decades. He began reporting in the 1960s for innovative current affairs programs like Four Corners and This Day Tonight. He produced several documentary shows and series - like the Logie-winning This Fabulous Country - that explored Australian's shared histories and values.
Friend and former colleague Mike Carlton, speaking to Guardian Australia, said Luck was "one of the true pioneers of Australian tv journalism; a reporter, writer and film-maker without peer”.
