Tia Kass of The Saturday Paper has won the 2020 Artwork Quill.

Judges' citation

The richness and detail of Tia Kass’ illustrations reveal the commitment the artist had to the stories of four temporary migrant workers in the food industry. The judges felt that the portraits demanded a respect for their subjects, their sincerity off-set by the quirkiness of the accompanying story-telling illustrations. An expressive, media-rich combination, and one that propelled the reader through the package.
