AFL in new partnership deal with MPC

The Melbourne Press Club has a new corporate partner  – the Australian Football League.

MPC chief executive officer Mark Baker said the Club was delighted to welcome the AFL as a Major Sponsor of the club.

“We have had a long-standing association with the AFL and the club is delighted that we are now taking that relationship to a new level,” Baker said.

“The AFL is not only the custodian of Australia’s greatest sporting code, but also an important media publisher and home to one of Melbourne’s biggest newsrooms.”

Jude Donnelly, the AFL’s Head of Government Relations, has accepted an invitation to join the MPC board.

The MPC is committed to expanding its engagement with media companies and major industry partners based in Melbourne to fulfil its mission to promote the vital importance of quality journalism, in all its formats, to our society.
