Welcome Nick and farewell Cathy

We are delighted to welcome Nick Richardson as the new CEO of the Melbourne Press Club.

Nick has a long association with the club and is a journalist at heart. He worked at News Corp for many years as a journalist, editor and training manager, developing the next generation of reporters. He has taught journalism at RMIT, Monash and LaTrobe (where he is Adjunct Professor of Journalism) and has a PhD in history from the University of Melbourne. A big thank you to our departing CEO Cathy Bryson, who leaves us this week after almost three years at the club. Cathy arrived just in time for Melbourne’s first lockdown and worked hard to steer the club through that difficult period. We have appreciated her resilience, hard work and professionalism and wish her well in her future endeavours.
