Since taking over as Premier in early March, Dr Denis Napthine has moved quickly to reposition the state government and recast the political contest in Victoria.

In his first major event with the Victorian media since taking the leadership and in the wake of the federal budget, Dr Napthine will address the Melbourne Press Club on his plans in the lead up to next year's state election and beyond.
