In this Edit event, moderator Matilda Marozzi speaks with the director of Melbourne University’s Centre for Advancing Journalism, Andrew Dodd, to get tips on how to get around media trained talent.

Andrew has worked as a reporter on ABC’s 7.30 and as a media and business writer with The Australian. He also founded ABC Radio National’s Media Report, worked for Radio Netherlands, and was a media writer for Crikey. Andrew co-edited, with Matthew Ricketson, the book Upheaval: Disrupted Lives in Journalism, which explored the future of the industry through the eyes of reporters.
