Monique is a Chief of Staff at the Herald Sun. Since completing her cadetship with News Corp in 2015, she has covered news and current affairs in the newspaper’s state politics, city and education teams. She has served in the role of Chief of Staff for the past year and a half, helping to manage the Herald Sun’s coverage of the pandemic, politics and breaking news.

Kate is the Senior Chief of Staff at Nine News Melbourne, where she has been at the helm of breaking news since 2011. With more than two decades working across Melbourne TV newsrooms, Kate was previously a senior reporter then Chief of Staff at Ten News. She is also on the board of the Melbourne Press Club, St Vincent’s hospital foundation and the Monash journalism school advisory board.
