Alexis Daish has returned to Australia after two years in Los Angeles as Nine Network’s US Foreign Correspondent, and will be joining moderator Matilda Marozzi for our first in-person Edit event in over a year!
During her time in the US, Alexis covered everything from awards season to crime, high-profile court cases, the 2020 US Election and the coronavirus pandemic.
Alexis has been with the Nine Network for 11 years – starting as a researcher for A Current Affair while studying at Melbourne University. She was awarded Young Journalist of the Year by the Melbourne Press Club and in 2016 won a Walkley Award for TV Young Journalist of the Year. In 2018, Alexis won a Quill Award for her reporting on the murder of Avondale Heights mother Karen Ristevski and has now returned to A Current Affair.
