Join us for our upcoming Edit webinar with Chris Gillett and Tia Kass on the importance of images in print, TV, and digital journalism, discussing the similarities and differences between illustrations and the power of an image in helping a story cut through.
Chris Gillett is an Australian TV journalist and a supervising producer at the ABC’s flagship current affairs program 7.30. He previously worked as a producer at The Project. His work has been recognised with awards in Australia and abroad, including multiple Melbourne Press Club Quill Awards, a Kennedy Award and a New York Film Festival World Medal.
Tia Kass is an illustrator whose art for a Saturday Paper story on migrant workers was recognised with the 2020 Artwork and Reporting on Multicultural Affairs Quill Awards.
